Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition, the most comprehensive version of the highly acclaimed horror game, will be released on PS4 and PS5 on February 9, 2024, Capcom announced.
As a complete version of the game, the Gold Edition will include everything ever released for the game. This means that on top of the base game, downloadable content such as the Separate Ways DLC and Deluxe Edition-exclusive content will be launched as a single package.
The aforementioned Deluxe Edition content includes multiple costumes for Ashley and Leon, the Skull Shaker and Sentinel Nine weapons, exclusive charms, a soundtrack, and more.
Capcom has not unveiled the pricing for the product, though it is likely to sell at a full price. Pre-orders are also likely to become available in the coming days.
Resident Evil 4 is a remake of the horror title by Capcom of the same name. Before being remade and released in 2023, the original title saw release on multiple platforms as well as a remaster.
As a major installment in the beloved franchise, the game sees the return of Leon Scott Kennedy whose comeback sees him taking a mission to save the US President’s daughter after having been kidnapped. But the kidnapping appears to be more sinister than it seems.
