CyberConnect2 and Bandai Namco have just announced that they have officially released the sixth DLC package, titled Goku’s Next Journey for the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot game. A launch trailer was released.
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is an action RPG developed by CyberConnect2 for the PlayStation 4 back in 2020. It also got a port for the PS5 in 2023 and received a few DLCs to expand its content.
The game aims to replicate living in the world of the classic manga and anime by making a bigger-than-life RPG experience. It covers a lengthy portion of the Dragon Ball story, including the Saiyan, Frieza, Cell, and Buu sagas.
Iconic events of the series as well as some more obscure ones get another chance to shine through a dynamic immersive experience. Besides Goku, it’s possible to unlock and play as Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Future Trunks, Gotenks, and Vegito.
In Goku’s Next Journey, we get to see an adaption of the final events of the original Dragon Ball manga and the Dragon Ball Z anime. Goku has to fight Uub in the new DLC, but it’ll also add other elements to the game.
Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. PS Plus Extra subscribers can play the game at no added cost.
