D3Publisher has announced the western release of EARTH DEFENSE FORCE: WORLD BROTHERS 2. The multiplayer shooter game will be available in English on PlayStation 4 and 5 on September 26, 2024.
EDF is a classic action game that has spanned many titles since its inception as part of D3’s PS2 Simple series. The games have players facing against big aliens, some of which may look like bugs or dinosaurs.
In the World Brothers subseries, the graphics use a voxelized artstyle. This makes it look like Minecraft and some other games with a colorful, child-friendly look. Up to 4 players can enjoy the experience of the missions together.
For World Brothers 2, we continue the story after the first one. A brand new enemy shows up and soldiers from all over the world will have to unite once again to defeat this threat.
