NIS America has announced the release date for The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak. The RPG is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in the West in July 5, 2024.
Trails through Daybreak is the 11th game in Nihon Falcom’s turn-based RPG subseries Trails. It is the first to introduce a hybrid combat system that allows players to flexibly go from action to command-based movements.
Also known as Kuro no Kiseki in Japan, the game introduces the Calvard region. As the spriggan Van Arkride, it’s up to the player to explore various areas, dealing with multiple missions on the way.
The game also features an aligment system, with some choices and actions affecting Van’s combat stats and plot developments. Van can align himself with Law or Chaos, or take a morally gray instance instead.
