Square Enix has just announced during the 10-Hour Broadcast stream that the collaboration event between Final Fantasy XIV Online MMORPG and LEVEL-5’s Yo-kai Watch series will be making a return from April 24, 2024.
To participate in the event, new players must first level up their character to 15, and complete their main scenario quest up until their starting city’s Envoy quest. This quest is named differently depending on your chosen starter class. For example, if you start on Limsa Lominsa, the quest is named The Lominsan Envoy. Once all conditions are met, players must must speak with the Poor-heeled Youth in Ul’dah, Steps of Nald.
He will then give you a Yo-kai Watch and a Yo-kai Medallium, which you can use to obtain Medals. There are 17 unique Yo-kai in total, and players can obtain the Whisper-go mount by collecting 13 out of 17. Here are all of the minions you can collect:
Furthermore, the event will also feature loads of unique weapon glamour skins that players can use across multiple classes. To obtain the weapons, players must clear overworld FATEs while having the respective Yo-kai minion summoned out (example: The Gunblade of the Yo-kai King requires the King Enma minion).
