Atlus has shared a new daily demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. This time we get a closer look at Kinmamon, a creature that was not available in the base game.
Vengeance is a new version of the latest mainline entry in the turn-based RPG series. Besides coming to PS4 and PS5 for the first time, it adds various elements and tweaks, such as the new “Vengeance” story route.
In the game, players assume the role of a highschooler suddenly transported to another world. In the Da’at, he’d be an easy prey for demons, but he instead fuses himself with a mysterious individual.
By doing that, he becomes a taboo being known as the Nahobino. Now, he must look for a way home while also finding out more about the mysterious circumstances he finds himself in.
Kinmamon is a demon that was also part of Strange Journey and Soul Hackers. In the new video, we get to see this Enigma demon use the Almighty-type skill Megidola+4. Almighty, healing and buff skills seem to be its forte.
At the end of the video, we get a silhouette for the next demon. Unless there’s some sort of joke, Vol.018 is likely to present Muu Shuwuu, who was previously known as Moh Shuvuu in pre-SMTV games.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance comes to PS4 and PS5 on June 14, 2024.
