Atlus has shared a new daily demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. The short trailer showcases Daisoujou, one of the Fiends in the game.
Vengeance is a new version of the latest mainline entry in the turn-based RPG series. Besides coming to PS4 and PS5 for the first time, it adds various elements and tweaks, such as the new “Vengeance” story route.
The player assumes the role of a young boy whose daily life is suddenly changed. Now in another world, he’s an easy prey for demons and ends up fusing with a mysterious individual to survive.
The result is that our protagonist becomes a half-human, half-demon called the Nahobino. Now he’ll have to look for a way back home and will end up figuring more about the truth behind everything.
Daisoujou is a Fiend whose weakness is fire. It has light and darkness tendencies and the video showcases skills for ailment and dark elements.
The silhouette in the end seems to be for Cerberus, a common demon in the franchise. Just like Daisoujou, it was already part of base Shin Megami Tensei V.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance comes to PS4 and PS5 on June 14, 2024.
