INTI Creates has shared a new trailer for Umbraclaw. Titled “A Partner’s Promise,” the new video showcases some of the elements in the upcoming game’s story.
Umbraclaw tells the story of Kuon. After death, this cat must traverse through the Soulplane to go back to her owner.
As she faces multiple trials, she’ll have the chance to become stronger by dying. Every time she dies, Kuon awakens the Anima Revive skill which gives her new skills and even changes her form.
The game promises multiple endings depending on how the player handles the obstacles ahead. Likely, the less times Anima Revive activates, the better for the story resolution.

Umbraclaw is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on May 30, 2024.
