The first free update for Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles is finally here. Announced last month during Wired Direct, the Tribute, Trade, and Spoils update introduces many changes and additions to the game.
Firstly, a currency called Splinters has been added, allowing players to earn it from several in-game actions. They can be earned through random events, such as taxing captains or defeating enemies. Splinters can then be used to acquire new structures and resource extractors. In addition to gaining structures and resources, they can also be used to repair battlegroups.
In addition to the new currency, three new ships and captains have been added to the Ursee. Alongside the new vessels is the ability to turn rivals into vassals to expand your empire. Other changes include updates to the UI, new world events, and updated Endgame Wonders.
