Publisher Aniplex and developer CyberConnect2 have recently announced that they will be releasing the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Sweep the Board! party game on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The game will be released in Japan on July 17, 2024, with pre-orders planned to begin from May 16, 2024. A western release has yet to be confirmed.
Furthermore, alongside this announcement, a new character, Kanao Tsuyuri, will be added to the player roster in a free update planned for Summer 2024.
This board game features iconic locations from the anime, like Mt. Fujikasane and Asakusa. Players must advance on the game board by rolling the dice, which switches between day and night.
During the day, prepare for the night with events and minigames. And at night, you will search for demons to defeat. Aim to become the strongest Demon-Slayer swordsman. You can choose from various characters from the Demon Slayer Corps., including Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the Hashira.
