During the Genshin Impact Special Program, HoYoverse announced the latest details regarding their Genshin Impact game. Version 4.7, An Everlasting Dream Intertwined, will be releasing on June 5th, 2024 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
In this update, three new playable characters, Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos, will be joining the roster of characters. Another long-term Challenge Domain aside from the well-known Spiral Abyss wil be added. And, a new arc to the Archon Quest will be added, where players will discover more secrets about Khaenri’ah as the Travelers and the ever-elusive Dainsleif meet once again.
New Content: The Everlasting Theater
Starting from July 1, a fresh monthly-reset challenge domain called the Imaginarium Theater will emerge in a hidden chamber within Mondstadt Library.
The Imaginarium Theater offers combat challenges of multiple difficulty levels but allows only characters of designated elements (plus a few exceptions) to participate, with a limit on the number of times they can fight.
During the challenge, players will receive a variety of buffs and debuffs, and will be able to gradually assemble and adjust their team builds from the characters they own, the initial lineup of six designated characters preset by the domain, friends’ Supporting Cast characters, and a few special guests.
Because of this new mode, the Spiral Abyss will shift to a monthly update cycle on the 16th day of each month.
Three New Characters Join Genshin Impact!
New characters will join the Traveler in their journey. The first character is Clorinde, a Champion Duelist of Fontaine and a five-star Electro sword wielder. When she is in the “Night Vigil” state, Clorinde can alternate between different attack styles, using piercing pistolet attacks to accumulate Bond of Life and a powerful lunging sword attack that clears her Bond of Life and restores her HP.
The second character is Siegwinne, the Fortress of Meropide’s head nurse and a Hydro bow wielder. She uses the Bond of Life debuff to help her teammates. Her healing will be increased based on the total Bond of Life values across all the characters in her party. Furthermore, she can fire a giant bouncing bubble to trap and attack nearby enemies, as well as to heal and buff her team.
Lastly, we have Sethos, a 4-star Electro bow wielder, who is one of the successors of the Temple of Silence. Sethos is capable of firing piercing Electro arrows in combat, and while his level 2 charged attack restricts his movements, he can use his Elemental Energy to shorten the charging time, then restoring it whenever his attacks trigger any type of Electro-related Elemental Reaction. His Elemental Burst can also fire consecutive enemy-piercing bolts.
Clorinde will be available in the 1st half of banners, alongside a rerun banner for Alhaitham. Sethos will also be available as a rate-up 4-star. Siegwinne on the other hand, will be coming in the 2nd half alongside a rerun of the Hydro Archon, Furina. The weapon banners will also receive updated lineups accordingly.
Genshin Impact Version 4.7 Optimizations
Starting from Version 4.7, players’ Original Resin cap will be increased from 160 to 200. Furthermore, the limits for several game materials will increase, allowing players to store a larger quantity of important materials. Lastly, the friend list cap will increase to 100.
