ATLUS has shared a new daily demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance. This time we get a closer look at Yoshitsune, a creature that was already part of the original SMT V.
Vengeance is a new version of the latest mainline entry in the turn-based RPG series. Besides coming to PS4 and PS5 for the first time, it adds various elements and tweaks, such as the new “Vengeance” story route.
The player assumes the role of a young boy whose daily life is suddenly changed. Now in another world, he’s an easy prey for demons and ends up fusing with a mysterious individual to survive.
The result is that our protagonist becomes a half-human, half-demon called the Nahobino. Now he’ll have to look for a way back home and will end up figuring more about the truth behind everything.
Yoshitsune is one of our potential allies in the game. It’s a Japanese creature of legend and the video shows it using Force and Physical skills. It has a +5 affinity bonus for the latter.
The silhouette for tomorrow’s video indicates the addition of Nezha Taizi to the game. This is a Chinese creature that most games used to call Nata Taishi (the Japanese spelling) up to Soul Hackers 2 release.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance comes to PS4 and PS5 on June 14, 2024.
