Aniplex USA has shared the opening animation video for Tsukihime: A Piece Of Blue Glass Moon. It showcases an Ufotable anime sequence that serves as an intro in the visual novel.
Tsukihime is a classic Type-Moon game from 2000 by author Kinoko Nasu of Fate/Stay Night fame. The story takes place in the same universe as other works by him.
A Piece Of Blue Glass Moon is the first part of the Tsukihime remake announced back in 2008. It covers the “near side of the moon” routes for Arcueid Brunestud and Ciel.
The story follows Shiki Tohno, a young heir who comes back to the Tohno mansion after his father’s death. With the ability to see death lines in everything, he’ll get himself in a messy web of supernatural circumstances.
The new video on Aniplex USA’s account features the opening theme Seimeisen. ReoNA from SACRA MUSIC performs this song.
Tsukihime: A Piece Of Blue Glass Moon is coming to PlayStation 4 on June 27, 2024.
