Aksys Games revealed the release date for Tales from Toyotoki: Arrival of the Witch. The upcoming English edition of the visual novel comes to PlayStation 5 on August 22, 2024.
The game tells the story of Hikaru, a young man in a dire situation. He’s now homeless in an unfamiliar island, trying to avoid pit snakes and survive.
During his wandering, he finds a witch in a similar position. The two decide to set out together in the hopes of finding better luck on this secluded island than each would have alone.
The journey will eventually become also an opportunity for self-discovery as the two meet other people trying to find their place in the world. Together, they may perhaps also find out the secret of the island.
Besides the game itself, the release will include behind-the-scenes commentary and content originally released as DLC in Japan. It’s already possible to pre-order Tales from Toyotoki: Arrival of the Witch on Aksys Store at US$ 49.99.
