is Brain announced another delay to Princess Maker 2 Regeneration. The game will come to PS4 and PS5 on August 8, 2024.
The game had faced two previous delays due to development issues. However, this time it only affects PlayStation systems, with other systems retaining the July 11 release and not making the same modifications.
The company has strictly pointed out that the PS4 and PS5 editions will need alterations to comply with Sony’s ethical standards. As such, the company will remove the following controversial content:
- Items that increase the daughter’s bust size;
- The endings that have the daughter marry with her foster father and with the butler.
Princess Maker is a series of raising sims by GAINAX and the biggest reference of its genre. In the games, players must raise a daughter and the proper planning of her schedule will lead her to various possible jobs and future events.
Princess Maker 2 Regeneration updates the original title to high resolutions graphics. Takami Akai, the original illustrator, has redrawn some of the illustrations for this project.
