Grinding Gear Games has announced Path of Exile 2 is coming to PlayStation 5. The title is a free-to-play action RPG and it’ll be possible to play it later in 2024.
Path of Exile 2 has twelve character classes. The variations cover different values of Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence, as well as different styles players can build upon by mixing skills together.
With over 700 equipment types and 1500 skills to unlock in the Skill Tree, the company says in the PS.Blog that they want to make it fair for every player instead of pay-to-win.
The title will feature a six-act campaign with expansions going forward for both the new game and the first one. Purchases in one game carry to the other.
The company has also revealed that the game will feature couch co-op, cross-play and cross-progression. With these features, it’ll be possible to enjoy it with friends in any format and continue playing in other systems without losing personal progress.
