During today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, Square Enix has announced that the long-awaited DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake will finally be coming on PlayStation 5 November 14, 2024.
This HD-2D remake of DRAGON QUEST III gives existing fans the chance to re-experience a beloved RPG experience and its expanded offerings like never before, while also being a perfect starting point for newcomers to discover one of the most influential RPG franchises in gaming history.
Our story starts with a wicked fiend named Baramos, who threatens to destroy the world. Players take on the role of the Hero, who is a descendant of the legendary warrior Ortega. On their sixteenth birthday, the Hero is summoned to the castle and is given by the King of Aliahan the challenge to rid the world of the evil archfiend Baramos.
Players who pre-order the game will receive a Trouble-Free Travel Kit in the game, which contains a collection of in-game items.
