Red Art Games, together with developer Pugware have just announced that they will release the the third entry in their pentalogy Skautfold series, titled Skautfold: Into the Fray, for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on October 4, 2024, priced at US$14,99.
Physical PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions will also launch on October 25, 2024, with pre-orders now open.
Skautfold: Into the Fray is a fast action–shooter in the vein of Doom and Dark Messiah. The focus is on fast, bloody combat with satisfying feedback and environmental reactivity in a dark Lovecraftian story of civil strife.
Players play as Hito, Third Knight of the Empire and one of Empress Eleanor’s Five Knights, to investigate a missing royal and a rebellious faction called the Sons of Washington.
Explore corpse-filled streets and dank cave systems or cleanse secret underground tunnels of the rituals aiming to grow the Fog’s influence. As you search for a way to stop the ongoing destruction, you’re sure to stumble upon some of the deepest, darkest secrets of the island.
