Bandai Namco has shared a new trailer for Bleach: Rebirth Of Souls. The playable character this time is Gin Ichimaru, one of the squad captains in the Soul Society.
Bleach is a classic manga and anime series that was a popular work in the Shounen Jump magazine. It received multiple game adaptions over the years, but it’s been over a decade since the last Bleach console game.
Rebirth of Souls is a 3D fighting game that will allow us to play as some of its many characters. One of the playable options will be Gin Ichimaru, a captain with an enigmatic ever-smiling face.
Gin’s skills in Bleach: Rebirth Of Souls
While leading Squad 3, Gin uses a Blade Ballet with his zanpakuto, the fastest of all the squads. According to the video, he’ll have long reach and be strong in medium and long range combat. Keeping enemies away should be a key aspect of using him.
In the new Bleach: Rebirth Of Souls trailer, we get to see some of his special skills. His signature move is the Serpent Strike, a thrust which extends his blade. If the player doesn’t stop pressing the button during the animation, the hit will be stronger.
With spiritual pressure, it’ll also be possible to use Urozuki to counter and make his blade stronger. Another skill of his is Shinso Sousen, cleaving a wide area with his blade.
Finally, just like previous characters in Bleach: Rebirth Of Souls, we get to see his Awakening skill. By releasing his Bankai: Kamishininoyari, his range increases, making it even easier to keep enemies at bay.
