Playstation and Firewalk Studios have recently announced this morning in a blog post that their first-person hero shooter game Concord will be taken offline starting on September 6, 2024.
Concord originally released on August 23, 2024 on the PlayStation 5, which means this end of service announcement comes just shy of 2 weeks after its release. Many mixed and negative reviews criticized the game, and even on its release, it failed to even reach a substantial concurrent player count. The developers mention that they will be “exploring options, including those that will better reach our players.”
If you purchased the game for PlayStation 5 from the PlayStation Store or PlayStation Direct, a refund will be issued back to your original payment method. Physical copies purchased at a retailer location outside of PlayStation should be taken through the retailer’s refund options.
