Bandai Namco has shared a new trailer for Bleach: Rebirth Of Souls. This time we get a closer look at the squad 10 lieutenant Rangiku Matsumoto, a freshly revealed playable character.
Bleach is a classic manga and anime series that was a popular work in the Shounen Jump magazine. It received multiple game adaptions over the years, but it’s been over a decade since the last Bleach console game.
Rebirth of Souls is a 3D fighting game that will allow us to play as some of its many characters. The list includes not only Ichigo and his friends but also some of the forces in the Soul Society like Rangiku.
Rangiku’s skills in Bleach: Rebirth Of Souls
Rangiku uses the Haineko zanpakuto to break her opponent’s rhythm. Her best skills are within a medium range of her opponent.
The first move the video introduces is Shakkaho, which lets Rangiku throw a fireball. It’s possible to use a follow-up once it hits the opponent, but it’s important to keep in mind that it’s a slow move.
By using spiritual power, Rangiku can counter attacks with “You’re too slow!,” which teleports her behind the enemy. Once she assumes her new position, she’ll activate Shakkaho.
Another option is Sokatsui, which is a high damage skill with poor range and speed. Using it properly will likely depend on good timing, abusing the opponents’ openings, as they could otherwise counter this with faster skills.
Lastly, but not least, she can use Awakening, which changes her skills in battle. With Haineko Spread, she can control the enemies’ movements and disrupt them.
