Astro Bot Guide: Go-Go Archipelago! – All Collectibles (Bots, Puzzle Pieces and Lost Galaxy)

Welcome to Astro Bot, a 3D platform game developed by SIE Japan Studio’s Team ASOBI studio, exclusively for PlayStation 5! The game is a direct sequel to Astro’s Playroom and is loaded with easter eggs that pay homage to many games that marked PlayStation’s story somehow.

Many easter eggs are also collectibles — that’s why finding them is an important part of the game experience. Overall, Astro Bot has 4 Galaxies to explore, with 6 Planets on each. It can take around 12 to 15 hours to finish the story, get all collectibles, and grab the Platinum Trophy.

All Collectibles are divided into Rescue Bots and Puzzle Pieces — and each Planet (or, at least, most of them) has 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces to collect. There are also Lost Galaxies that can be found inside Planets that unlock special Levels.

An important notice is that none of the Collectibles are missable. You can replay any Planet at any time to collect your missing items. There’s also a built-in progress tracker in the PlayStation 5’s trophy list, where you can track how many you found already.

Tentacle System (World)

Astro Bot’s main story is linear most of the time, so you need to complete the Worlds in a specific order. The first one is Tentacle System, which has 46 Bots, 16 Puzzle Pieces and 2 Lost Galaxies.

Inside Gorilla Nebula, there are 6 Planets — 4 Main Planets, 1 Boss, and 1 Special Planet. For this Collectible Guide, we listed the locations for all Bots and Puzzle Pieces for Go-Go Archipelago!, one of the Main Planets inside this galaxy.

Go-Go Archipelago! (Planet)

There is a total of 7 Bots, 3 Puzzle Pieces and 1 Lost Galaxy in Go-Go Archipelago!. So let’s begin!

Puzzle Piece 1/3

Right at the beginning of the Planet, while flying with the ship, a Puzzle Piece will appear in your way. Use L2 and R2 to accelerate and grab it!

Bot 1/7

On the right side of the first area, you will see some turtles and a platform. Go up the platform to find enemies and a Bot tied to a tree.

Bot 2/7

On the left side of the first area, there is a platform with a Bot that is camping. Go over there and hit him.

Puzzle Piece 2/3

When you find an enemy that looks like a shell, you need to use your monkey arms to open it. Use the rocks inside the shell to break a wall on the right and reveal a Puzzle Piece.

Bot 3/7

Right after the first shell, look to your left to find an alternative path. Follow it to find a monkey symbol on the floor. Use L2 and R2 to make some platforms appear that will take you to a second shell. Inside this one, there is a bot.

Yorda Bot 4/7

As you progress, you will find a Bot inside a cage. Jump and press A to use the laser and break the area around the cage to make it drop on the floor below. That will free the Yorda Bot.

Bot 5/7

Right after you found Bot 4/7, there is a cave near where the cage dropped. Inside there is another Bot.

Ico Bot 6/7

When you reach the third enemy that looks like a shell, Look back to see an alternative path that leads to a monkey symbol on the floor. Press L2 and R2 to reveal a wire to a nearby island. On the top of this area, the Ico Bot is hanging on a tree!

Bot 7/7

As you progress, you will find an area with a monkey symbol on the floor and three flowers. Look at your right to find a barrel with a wire. Pull it to reveal a Bot.

Puzzle Piece 3/3

When you progress and reach a wall that needs the monkey arms to be raised, look on your left to find a giant rock that you can hold and throw on the wall to reveal a Puzzle Piece.

Lost Galaxy

After defeating the pirate, look to your right instead of jumping to the finish line. You will see a star symbol on the floor that you can dig up to drop into a cave. Inside you will find a Lost Galaxy.

These are all collectibles for Go-Go Archipelago!. Congratulations!
