Astro Bot Guide: Slo-Mo Casino – All Collectibles (Bots and Puzzle Pieces)

Welcome to Astro Bot, a 3D platform game developed by SIE Japan Studio’s Team ASOBI studio, exclusively for PlayStation 5! The game is a direct sequel to Astro’s Playroom and is loaded with easter eggs that pay homage to many games that marked PlayStation’s story somehow.

Many easter eggs are also collectibles — that’s why finding them is an important part of the game experience. Overall, Astro Bot has 4 Galaxies to explore, with 6 Planets on each. It can take around 12 to 15 hours to finish the story, get all collectibles, and grab the Platinum Trophy.

All Collectibles are divided into Rescue Bots and Puzzle Pieces — and each Planet (or, at least, most of them) has 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces to collect. There are also Lost Galaxies that can be found inside Planets that unlock special Levels.

An important notice is that none of the Collectibles are missable. You can replay any Planet at any time to collect your missing items. There’s also a built-in progress tracker in the PlayStation 5’s trophy list, where you can track how many you found already.

Serpent Starway (World)

Astro Bot’s main story is linear most of the time, so you need to complete the Worlds in a specific order. The third one is Serpent Starway, which has 42 Bots, 16 Puzzle Pieces and 2 Lost Galaxies.

Inside Serpent Starway, there are 6 Planets — 4 Main Planets, 1 Boss, and 1 Special Planet. For this Collectible Guide, we listed the locations for all Bots and Puzzle Pieces for Slo-Mo Casino, one of the Main Planets inside this galaxy.

Slo-Mo Casino (Planet)

There is a total of 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces in Slo-Mo Casino. So let’s begin!

Bot 1/7

After stopping time to cross the street, use the time mechanic again to use the three dolphins right in front of you to climb to a platform with the first Bot.

Bot 2/7

In the second area of this Planet, you will face four casino machines. Go in front of the left casino machine and use the time mechanic to find a Bot hidden on the symbols. All you need to do is stop time and jump to hit the Bot.

Puzzle Piece 1/3

After the casino machines area, look to your right to see an alternative path that leads to a Puzzle Piece. Follow it through the platforms on the wall and grab the collectible.

Bot 3/7

At the same area you got the Puzzle Piece 1/3, follow the path on the left (instead of progressing going up) to find a Bot.

Sly Cooper Bot 4/7

Progress until you reach an area where you need to stop time to jump on some casino chips to go up. Instead of moving forward, look back to find the Sly Cooper Bot trapped inside a cage. Use the time mechanic again to jump to the cage, go around it, and find the right wall to push and rescue him!

Puzzle Piece 2/3

After you use some casino chips as platforms (where you got the Sly Cooper Bot), keep an eye on your left and look down to find a platform with a Puzzle Piece. Stop time to jump over there and grab the collectible.

Bot 5/7

Progress until you find some enemies that throw cards at you. Look to your left to find a platform below with a Bot tied to a giant vent. So stop time to hit him!

Little Devil Bot 6/7

After the gate with the enemies that throw cards at you, punch the casino chips on the left of this area to reveal a wire. Pull the wire to make a trampoline appear, then jump on it to reach an optional platform. Jump into the hole in the middle of this platform to find a hidden area full of dice with the Little Devil Bot.

Joker Bot 7/7

When you reach the area with the giant darts, stop time to reach the top of the platform on your right. You will find the Joker Bot (from the game Persona 5!) over there.

Puzzle Piece 3/3

In the same area with the giant darts, look down near the cliff instead of progressing to find a platform below. Follow this path to find a Puzzle Piece.

These are all collectibles for Slo-Mo Casino. Congratulations!
