Welcome to Astro Bot, a 3D platform game developed by SIE Japan Studio’s Team ASOBI studio, exclusively for PlayStation 5! The game is a direct sequel to Astro’s Playroom and is loaded with easter eggs that pay homage to many games that marked PlayStation’s story somehow.
Many easter eggs are also collectibles — that’s why finding them is an important part of the game experience. Overall, Astro Bot has 4 Galaxies to explore, with 6 Planets on each. It can take around 12 to 15 hours to finish the story, get all collectibles, and grab the Platinum Trophy.
All Collectibles are divided into Rescue Bots and Puzzle Pieces — and each Planet (or, at least, most of them) has 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces to collect. There are also Lost Galaxies that can be found inside Planets that unlock special Levels.
An important notice is that none of the Collectibles are missable. You can replay any Planet at any time to collect your missing items. There’s also a built-in progress tracker in the PlayStation 5’s trophy list, where you can track how many you found already.
Camo Cosmos (World)
Astro Bot’s main story is linear most of the time, so you need to complete the Worlds in a specific order. The fourth one is Camo Cosmos, which has 40 Bots, 16 Puzzle Pieces and 2 Lost Galaxies.
Inside Camo Cosmos, there are 6 Planets — 4 Main Planets, 1 Boss, and 1 Special Planet. For this Collectible Guide, we listed the locations for all Bots and Puzzle Pieces for Spooky Time, one of the Main Planets inside this galaxy.
Spooky Time (Planet)
There is a total of 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces in Spooky Time. So let’s begin!
Bot 1/7
After you get past the main gate, keep an eye on the right to see a pond of water. Jump on the enemy to get boosted to a platform, and stop the time to rescue the Bot.
Bot 2/7
When you need to go through some giant knives on a bridge, stop time to discover that a Bot is trapped in one of these knives! Be quick to rescue him.
Chris Redfield Bot 3/7
After the area with the giant knives, look to your left to see a Chris Redfield Bot (from the Resident Evil franchise!) in need of help. Use the microphone to blow the candles and create a path to rescue him.
Puzzle Piece 1/3
Proceed until you hit a robot flower to make some platforms appear. Stop the time and grab the Puzzle Piece that is on your way. Impossible to miss.
Bot 4/7
When you reach an area with an enemy that you need to stop time to defeat, follow the path on the right to find a Bot inside a shell. Stop the time to rescue him.
Puzzle Piece 2/3
In the same area where you rescued the Bot 4/7 inside a shell, notice that you can jump on the creature to be thrown into the air and reach a platform with a bunch of coins. One of the coins is a disguised enemy, so be careful! Defeat him to reveal a wire. Pull it to find a Puzzle Piece.
Bot 5/7
After you stop time to use some graves as platforms, go to the right and follow the path until the end to find a Bot.
Jill Valentine Bot 6/7
At the invisible platforms that appear as you approach, keep an eye on your left to see some optional platforms that lead to a secret area. Inside, you will find Jill Valentine Bot!
Bot 7/7
Normally progress in the Planet to find a Bot in a wall that you need to run and avoid some knives while stopping time. It will appear right in your way. Impossible to miss.
Puzzle Piece 3/3
At the final area of the Planet, you will need to stop time to go through to the finish line. In your way, there is a Puzzle Piece. Make sure to stop at the right time to grab it.
These are all collectibles for Spooky Time. Congratulations!
