Welcome to Astro Bot, a 3D platform game developed by SIE Japan Studio’s Team ASOBI studio, exclusively for PlayStation 5! The game is a direct sequel to Astro’s Playroom and is loaded with easter eggs that pay homage to many games that marked PlayStation’s story somehow.
Many easter eggs are also collectibles — that’s why finding them is an important part of the game experience. Overall, Astro Bot has 4 Galaxies to explore, with 6 Planets on each. It can take around 12 to 15 hours to finish the story, get all collectibles, and grab the Platinum Trophy.
All Collectibles are divided into Rescue Bots and Puzzle Pieces — and each Planet (or, at least, most of them) has 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces to collect. There are also Lost Galaxies that can be found inside Planets that unlock special Levels.
An important notice is that none of the Collectibles are missable. You can replay any Planet at any time to collect your missing items. There’s also a built-in progress tracker in the PlayStation 5’s trophy list, where you can track how many you found already.
Feather Cluster (World)
Astro Bot’s main story is linear most of the time, so you need to complete the Worlds in a specific order. The fifth and final one is Feather Cluster, which has 48 Bots, 19 Puzzle Pieces and 2 Lost Galaxies.
Inside Feather Cluster, there are 6 Planets — 4 Main Planets, 1 Boss, and 1 Special Planet. For this Collectible Guide, we listed the locations for all Bots, Puzzle Pieces and Lost Galaxy for Djinny of the Lamp, one of the Main Planets inside this galaxy.
Djinny of the Lamp (Planet)
There is a total of 7 Bots, 3 Puzzle Pieces and 1 Lost Galaxy in Djinny of the Lamp. So let’s begin!
Puzzle Piece 1/3
Right at the beginning of the Planet, while flying with the ship, a Puzzle Piece will appear in your way. Be quick to grab it!
Jaster Rogue Bot 1/7
In the town area, notice that there is a sort of observatory in the right area. Use the pink umbrella to reach the top of this observatory, which has some alien enemies. Defeat them and rescue the Jaster Rogue Bot (from the game Rogue Galaxy!).
Bot 2/7
In the town area, look to the left side to find a plane. Climb on the plane to jump to the nearest roof and rescue a Bot that is being bullied by some electric enemies.
Puzzle Piece 2/3
Right in the middle of the town area, you are going to find a house with two yellow ladders. Climb this house to the top to find a Puzzle Piece.
Bot 3/7
From the roof that you just snatched the Puzzle Piece 2/3, look right in front of you to see a Bot inside a floating vase. He’s in trouble since there are a lot of enemies surrounding him. Jump in his direction, break the vase, and defeat all enemies for the rescue!
Kat Bot 4/7
After the scenario change, the Kat Bot (from the Gravity Rush franchise!) will appear right in your way on the back of a plane while you progress through the platforms. Hard to miss.
Bot 5/7
With the dog suit, you are going to enter a round building with a checkpoint. Look on your right to see a breakable wall. Press R2 towards this wall to reveal a Bot.
Bot 6/7
When you reach a platform with a purple umbrella, notice that there is a Bot on the top of it. Progress just a little bit to reach some rotating platforms (use R2 for this) on the right that will lead you to the Bot.
Puzzle Piece 3/3
Progress normally and a Puzzle Piece will appear in your way (after the rotating observatory). Impossible to miss.
Raven Bot 7/7
After the Puzzle Piece 3/3, you will need to use R2 to get past a giant rotating propeller. Then look back to see the Raven Bot (also from Gravity Rush) on the back of the propeller. Climb it to rescue him!
Lost Galaxy
When you defeat the djinn, you will face the finish line. Instead of finishing the Planet, look back and smash some pots to reveal that there are some buried magic stones. Use these stones as a guide direction to step on invisible platforms and reach the other side, where you will find a rolled-up carpet. Punch it and hop on to go to the entrance of the Lost Galaxy.
These are all collectibles for Djinny of the Lamp. Congratulations!
