Welcome to Astro Bot, a 3D platform game developed by SIE Japan Studio’s Team ASOBI studio, exclusively for PlayStation 5! The game is a direct sequel to Astro’s Playroom and is loaded with easter eggs that pay homage to many games that marked PlayStation’s story somehow.
Many easter eggs are also collectibles — that’s why finding them is an important part of the game experience. Overall, Astro Bot has 4 Galaxies to explore, with 6 Planets on each. It can take around 12 to 15 hours to finish the story, get all collectibles, and grab the Platinum Trophy.
All Collectibles are divided into Rescue Bots and Puzzle Pieces — and each Planet (or, at least, most of them) has 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces to collect. There are also Lost Galaxies that can be found inside Planets that unlock special Levels.
An important notice is that none of the Collectibles are missable. You can replay any Planet at any time to collect your missing items. There’s also a built-in progress tracker in the PlayStation 5’s trophy list, where you can track how many you found already.
Feather Cluster (World)
Astro Bot’s main story is linear most of the time, so you need to complete the Worlds in a specific order. The fifth and final one is Feather Cluster, which has 48 Bots, 19 Puzzle Pieces and 2 Lost Galaxies.
Inside Feather Cluster, there are 6 Planets — 4 Main Planets, 1 Boss, and 1 Special Planet. For this Collectible Guide, we listed the locations for all Bots, Puzzle Pieces and Lost Galaxy for Frozen Meal, one of the Main Planets inside this galaxy.
Frozen Meal (Planet)
There is a total of 7 Bots, 3 Puzzle Pieces and 1 Lost Galaxy in Frozen Meal. So let’s begin!
Puzzle Piece 1/3
Right at the beginning, look back and follow the path until the end to find a snowman on the left. Hit him to reveal a wire. Pull it to grab a Puzzle Piece.
Jodie Holmes Bot 1/7
When you reach the second area of the Planet, where there is a wire on the center of a round platform, pull the wire to hold a flower that can give you a boost to jump higher. Then look to your right to see the Jodie Holmes Bot (from the game Beyond: Two Souls) in need of help! Use the flower to reach the platform and rescue her.
Bot 2/7
When you ice skate for the first time, keep an eye to your left to see an alternative path that leads to a Bot.
Sam Bot 3/7
After you almost reach the finish line (that is sucked by the giant snowman), look to your left to see some platforms that lead to the Sam Bot (from the game Death Stranding!). Follow it and hit him for the rescue.
Puzzle Piece 2/3
After you almost reach the finish line (that is sucked by the giant snowman), look to your right to find some piled snow. Hit it to reveal a wire. Pull the wire to make some moving platforms and a Puzzle Piece appears.
Bot 4/7
When you arrive at an area full of snow and your yellow (and angry) enemies, notice that there is a giant block of ice on the right side. Walk around until you reveal a wire and pull it to grab a throwable dynamite. Throw the dynamite in the block of ice to reveal a Bot.
Connor Bot 5/7
With the same throwable dynamite that you used to rescue the Bot 4/7, break an ice wall on the left side of this snowy area (going down a platform). That will reveal a star symbol on the floor that you can dig (press the Square button) to enter a secret cave with the Connor Bot (from the game Detroit: Become Human). What you need to do to rescue him is use your laser (press A while jumping) around the platform that is keeping him trapped.
Bot 6/7
When you reach an area with a breakable floor and three electric enemies, pull the wire that is on the right side of this area to grab a flower that can give you a boost to jump higher. Then go to the left side and use the flower to reach a platform with a Bot that is fishing.
Puzzle Piece 3/3
As you progress you are going to jump on a series of ice platforms that are rotating and make you slide. At the end of these platforms, there is a Puzzle Piece. Make sure you grab it (you just have to be a little patient).
Lost Galaxy
After the moving platforms, you will reach an area full of snow, with some electric enemies and two penguins surrounding a snowball. Push the snowball in the snow to make it grow, then position the giant snowball on the left side of the wall to reach a platform. Use the controller mechanic in this area to break the wall and reveal the entrance to the Lost Galaxy.
Bot 7/7
After defeating Frigid Frosty, you will land in the finish line. Right in front of it, there is a Bot. Impossible to miss.
These are all collectibles for Frozen Meal. Congratulations!
