Astro Bot Guide: Orbital Blitz – All Collectibles (Bots and Puzzle Pieces)

Welcome to Astro Bot, a 3D platform game developed by SIE Japan Studio’s Team ASOBI studio, exclusively for PlayStation 5! The game is a direct sequel to Astro’s Playroom and is loaded with easter eggs that pay homage to many games that marked PlayStation’s story somehow.

Many easter eggs are also collectibles — that’s why finding them is an important part of the game experience. Overall, Astro Bot has 4 Galaxies to explore, with 6 Planets on each. It can take around 12 to 15 hours to finish the story, get all collectibles, and grab the Platinum Trophy.

All Collectibles are divided into Rescue Bots and Puzzle Pieces — and each Planet (or, at least, most of them) has 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces to collect. There are also Lost Galaxies that can be found inside Planets that unlock special Levels.

An important notice is that none of the Collectibles are missable. You can replay any Planet at any time to collect your missing items. There’s also a built-in progress tracker in the PlayStation 5’s trophy list, where you can track how many you found already.

Feather Cluster (World)

Astro Bot’s main story is linear most of the time, so you need to complete the Worlds in a specific order. The fifth and final one is Feather Cluster, which has 48 Bots, 19 Puzzle Pieces and 2 Lost Galaxies.

Inside Feather Cluster, there are 6 Planets — 4 Main Planets, 1 Boss, and 1 Special Planet. For this Collectible Guide, we listed the locations for all Bots and Puzzle Pieces for Orbital Blitz, one of the Main Planets inside this galaxy.

Orbital Blitz (Planet)

There is a total of 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces in Orbital Blitz. So let’s begin!

Puzzle Piece 1/3

Right at the beginning of the Planet, while you are still driving the ship, an alien will appear with a Puzzle Piece. Immediately press R2 to accelerate and reach the alien before you land.

Piranha Pilot Bot 1/7

When you reach some silver cushions on a rotating platform, keep an eye on your right to see the Piranha Pilot Bot (from the Wipeout franchise!) that needs help. Use the silver cushions to reach him.

AG Systems Pilot Bot 2/7

At an area with a bridge, go down to the right to find a round glass full of stars. Break it with your laser to reveal a secret path to the AG Systems Pilot Bot 2/7. Inside, you need to pull the wire and use the magnet to throw it on the symbol.

Qirex Pilot Bot 3/7

After the bridge, in an area with a giant purple tree, use the chicken mechanic to reach the top of the tree and find the Qirex Pilot Bot.

Auricom Pilot Bot 4/7

When you face two electric enemies with mohawks, defeat them and enter the hole where they came from. Use R2 to boost yourself into the air and find the Auricom Pilot Bot.

Puzzle Piece 2/3

After you rescue the Bot 4/7, you will see some electric floors as you proceed. Look down to see a Puzzle Piece. You need to jump on it and quickly press R2 to get a boost into the air to avoid death.

Feisar Pilot Bot 5/7

When you open the zipper up, you are going to be inside a place that has glass as a roof. Use R2 to boost yourself into the air and break the glass. On the top of this structure, there is the Feisar Pilot Bot.

Bot 6/7

When you open the zipper up, you will reach a rotating platform. Look to your right to see a handrail that you can jump to and find a Bot.

Bot 7/7

After you reach a checkpoint near a snake enemy, go to the left side to find an area with a zipper. Open the zipper up to reveal an alien that abducted a Bot. Chase it quickly to save the bot! This one is very missable.

Puzzle Piece 3/3

You will need to run on a wall to get to the top at some point, but keep an eye on your left to see a yellow handle. Go there, grab the handle, and press R2 to reveal a Puzzle Piece.

These are all collectibles for Orbital Blitz. Congratulations!
