Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections trailer reveals

A new trailer for Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2’s latest game project, Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, just dropped, showcasing the many game modes and changes that are coming for the game.

Known as a franchise with a large roster of playable characters, Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections ups the ante with the addition of 10 new characters on top of the pre-existing. This makes the game the biggest in the series based on the number of playable characters alone, to date.

The new playable characters are as follows:

Ashura Otsutsuki
Naruto Uzumaki (Baryon Mode)
Sasuke Uchiha (Supporting Kage)
Boruto Uzumaki (Karma)
Kawaki
Jigen
Boro
Delta
Koji Kashin

History and Special Modes

But this developing title is not only adding to the amazing ninja fighting the series is known for without adding something new. In this instance, there will be the addition of History and Special Story Modes.

In History, players trip and relive the epic battles of the entire Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden experience. Meaning, starting from the Chunin exams until the Fourth Great Ninja War.

Special Story mode, meanwhile, starts the journey with Boruto, including two other characters. This mode begins at a time of peace with Naruto now heading Konoha as the Hokage up to events signaling the development of the Fifth Great Ninja War.

Free Battle, Network Battle, Simple Control, Customization

There is also the Free Battle mode where players can engage in traditional offline battle mode: VS Battle, Survival, Tournament, League, and Practice.

Furthermore, there is also the Network Battle where players can engage in Online Battle Mode: Casual Match and Rank Match.

For beginners, there is the Simple Control Mode for chaining easy combos, including chakra dash, at a single press of a button.

And for those looking to get a different look at the game, there is also Customization. This allows players to tinker with their favorite characters, based on available options.
