Megaton Musashi W: Wired Gets New Multiplayer Mode in November

Level-5 has revealed a new update to Megaton Musashi W: Wired. The mecha action game already available on PS4 and PS5 will get a new “Megarobo Batroseum” multiplayer mode in November.

Megaton Musashi is a multimedia franchise that features a sci-fi world where humanity fights for survival using big mechs. Though the game originally came out in Japan in 2021, it was only this year that it got a worldwide release.

In 2118, humanity has been defeated by the Draktor alien forces and struggles to stay alive in isolated cities. At one such place, a young man called Yamato Ichidaiji has his normal life come to an end and becomes a Rogue pilot.

The new “Megarobo Batroseum” mode promises to be a “no complication” online fight that allows players to just pick a character instead of worrying over the specs of their mechs. It’ll be possible to enjoy 1 vs 1 duels or group battles that have everyone fighting for supremacy.

Ryoma Nagare from Getter Robo, Koji Kabuto from Mazinger Z, and Duke Fleed from Grendizer will also be playable options in this new mode.
