During the September 24th State of Play broadcast, Sony and Team ASOBI have announced a brand-new free DLC package for Astro Bot. Titled Speedrun and Special Bots, this free update will add in five new speedrun levels, as well as 10 new bots to rescue. It will be available sometime this Fall 2024.
The new trailer gives players a sneak peek at some of those levels and one of the new bots shown include a cameo from Stellar Blade.
About Astro Bot
In ASTRO BOT, players will explore 6 galaxies and over 80 levels in search of Astro’s scattered crew. These planets range from lush forests, sandy beaches, hot volcanoes to more surprising locations such as a gigantic hourglass or even the canopy of a singing tree.
Astro will also reunite with many friends from the PlayStation universe, and you can see a few of them in the trailer, such as Parrapa the Rapper and many more. Furthermore, Team Asobi has also added new abilities for Astro that take advantage of the haptic feedback of the DualSense Controller.
