Nihon Falcom has just announced that the remake of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky FC, titled The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter will be releasing on Fall 2025 for PlayStation 5.
But that’s not all. In an unexpected move, it was also announced that the game will be available as a worldwide simultaneous release on both Japan and the west, with the western release published by GungHo Entertainment.
A standard physical edition will be available to purchase through Amazon for $59.99. A Collector’s Edition made by Limited Run Games is also in the plans. If you live in Europe, Clear River Games will be the distributor for the standard physical edition, costing €59.99.
About Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is the first series across the greater Trails franchise, with three titles released from 2004 to 2007, including The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC, and The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd.
The story is set in Liberl Kingdom, a small nation located in the southwestern part of the continent of Zemuria. In a world advancing through a new technology called “Orbal Energy,” a girl named Estelle and her companion Joshua aim to become Bracers who protect civilians and maintain peace throughout the region.
The remake fully recreates the experience in 3D, and all the distinctive characters, including Estelle and Joshua, have been refined. Battles can be seamlessly switched between the two battle modes Field Action and Command Battle, each character’s Crafts and Arts are dynamically displayed.
