Boudoir Safe
Hint 1: The Christmas Tree
Inside the Boudoir, you’ll find a picture attached to the mirror drawer, like below. This picture shows the safe, alongside a Christmas tree. Furthermore, when the in-game date hits December 25th, this room will also be decorated with the tree. This is a huge clue on how to open the safe.
Solution: The Safe Code
The code for the Boudoir safe is the date of Christmas, in the American month/day formatting. So December is ’12’ and Christmas is on the 25th of December. Therefore, the combination of the safe is 1225. Input that and the safe will open, revealing its contents.
Office Safe
Step 1: Reveal the Safe
To reveal the Office safe, you must first flip a switch that’s hidden in a drawer located at the desk. Inside is also a note that is important for figuring out the first half of the safe’s combination.
Step 2: Count the Heads
After you read the note, you will now need to count a specific number of busts that are scattered across the room. The bust you’re going to count is the same as the big one that’s above the safe. The number of busts we find tells us the second half of the combination.
Step 3: Joining Both Hints Together
If you’re still stumped, the solution is rather simple. Take a look at the note again, and notice how all of the book names are written in red ink, but only one of them is written in black ink. That being March. March is the 3rd month of the year, so the first half of the combination is 03. Then, counting the number of busts that match the one above the safe, we also count three. So the second half of the combination is 03. Input 0303, and the safe will open.
It’s worth noting that if you happen to draft both the Boudoir and the Office once again in future days, the safe will close itself again. However, now that you know the solution, you can simply skip the puzzle and just input those codes, netting you one gem, which is useful when you need to pay for a specific room to connect.
