Developer French-Bread and publisher Arc System Works have shared a new trailer for UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes. The video reveals a new playable character called Kuon.
UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes is the first new title in the fighting series, which had multiple revisions over the years. The game will continue the story of the original and add rollback and more characters.
The anime-styled 2D fighting game tells the story of multiple individuals who fight during a “Hollow Night”. This mysterious phenomenon that dates to feudal times has been happening for a long time and brings creatures called the Voids to the human realm.
After the strongest witch Hilda was defeated in the first game, a new foe appeared. Kuon, the “Eternal Re-Birth”, who has lived for 500 years decides to put into motion his ambition to end the world. However, what he really wants is to fight and defeat his arch-nemesis who disappeared beyond the Night.
