Developer Thirdverse recently announced that their narrative-driven action RPG Soul Covenant is releasing on the PSVR 2 on April 18th.
In Soul Covenant, players will explore a ravaged Tokyo as they fight against an AI led army bent on destroying the last remnants of humanity. In an attempt to fight back warriors are infused with the memories of past heroes to hone their skills and match the army.
Executive Producer Teriyuki Toriyama said that this will be the first genuine JRPG experience in a VR setting. This is also bolstered by the fact that most of the Soul Sacrifice team has been reunited for this title.
