Welcome to Astro Bot, a 3D platform game developed by SIE Japan Studio’s Team ASOBI studio, exclusively for PlayStation 5! The game is a direct sequel to Astro’s Playroom and is loaded with easter eggs that pay homage to many games that marked PlayStation’s story somehow.
Many easter eggs are also collectibles — that’s why finding them is an important part of the game experience. Overall, Astro Bot has 4 Galaxies to explore, with 6 Planets on each. It can take around 12 to 15 hours to finish the story, get all collectibles, and grab the Platinum Trophy.
All Collectibles are divided into Rescue Bots and Puzzle Pieces — and each Planet (or, at least, most of them) has 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces to collect. There are also Lost Galaxies that can be found inside Planets that unlock special Levels.
An important notice is that none of the Collectibles are missable. You can replay any Planet at any time to collect your missing items. There’s also a built-in progress tracker in the PlayStation 5’s trophy list, where you can track how many you found already.
Camo Cosmos (World)
Astro Bot’s main story is linear most of the time, so you need to complete the Worlds in a specific order. The fourth one is Camo Cosmos, which has 40 Bots, 16 Puzzle Pieces and 2 Lost Galaxies.
Inside Camo Cosmos, there are 6 Planets — 4 Main Planets, 1 Boss, and 1 Special Planet. For this Collectible Guide, we listed the locations for all Bots, Puzzle Pieces and Lost Galaxy for Balloon Breeze, one of the Main Planets inside this galaxy.
Balloon Breeze (Planet)
There is a total of 7 Bots, 3 Puzzle Pieces and 1 Lost Galaxy in Balloon Breeze. So let’s begin!
Puzzle Piece 1/3
Right in the first area of the Planet, a Puzzle Piece is on the top of a white flower on the left. Jump to grab it.
Bot 1/7
When you reach the second area of the Planet, there is a Bot on the top of a purple flower. Use the red enemy to reach him.
Lost Galaxy
In the same area where you found Bot 1/7, look to the right to see a platform that is quite far away. Push the red enemy in the direction of this platform, and use him and the floating mechanic to reach it. Then you need to shoot the bamboo to reveal a round platform on the floor, where you need to use your laser to reveal the Lost Galaxy.
Klonoa Bot 2/7
The giant robot will appear in your path. When that happens use the floating mechanic to reach his head and find the Klonoa Bot!
Puzzle Piece 2/3
When you reach a platform with two enemies that you need to inflate to defeat, notice that there is some wood that you can cut with your laser. Cut the wood on the left (the vertical one) to reveal a Puzzle Piece.
Bot 3/7
After you have been thrown into a flower vase, look for a Bot on a violet flower on the left.
Boku Bot 4/7
When you need to inflate to progress through some flower platforms, keep an eye on the right to see a broken vase with the Boku Bot (from the Boku no Natsuyasumi franchise!) inside of it. Go there, defeat the enemies, and rescue him!
Bot 5/7
At the end of the path with flower platforms, instead of proceeding look to the left to see a Bot in need of help inside a watering can. Go after him for the rescue.
Bot 6/7
When you reach a round platform with a wire and three enemies, notice that here there are also two mushrooms that you can climb. There is a bee flying around this area with a Bot, so reach them with the mushrooms.
Puzzle Piece 3/3
In the area with the giant floating animals, there is a Puzzle Piece right on the top of the whale. Just make sure you jump and float high enough to grab it.
Bot 7/7
After you grab the Puzzle Piece 3/3, progress until you almost reach the final platform. Keep an eye on the right to see a Bot on a cloud and jump towards him for the rescue.
These are all collectibles for Balloon Breeze. Congratulations!
