Astro Bot Guide: Bathhouse Battle – All Collectibles (Bots, Puzzle Pieces and Lost Galaxy)

Welcome to Astro Bot, a 3D platform game developed by SIE Japan Studio’s Team ASOBI studio, exclusively for PlayStation 5! The game is a direct sequel to Astro’s Playroom and is loaded with easter eggs that pay homage to many games that marked PlayStation’s story somehow.

Many easter eggs are also collectibles — that’s why finding them is an important part of the game experience. Overall, Astro Bot has 4 Galaxies to explore, with 6 Planets on each. It can take around 12 to 15 hours to finish the story, get all collectibles, and grab the Platinum Trophy.

All Collectibles are divided into Rescue Bots and Puzzle Pieces — and each Planet (or, at least, most of them) has 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces to collect. There are also Lost Galaxies that can be found inside Planets that unlock special Levels.

An important notice is that none of the Collectibles are missable. You can replay any Planet at any time to collect your missing items. There’s also a built-in progress tracker in the PlayStation 5’s trophy list, where you can track how many you found already.

Serpent Starway (World)

Astro Bot’s main story is linear most of the time, so you need to complete the Worlds in a specific order. The third one is Serpent Starway, which has 42 Bots, 16 Puzzle Pieces and 2 Lost Galaxies.

Inside Serpent Starway, there are 6 Planets — 4 Main Planets, 1 Boss, and 1 Special Planet. For this Collectible Guide, we listed the locations for all Bots, Puzzle Pieces and Lost Galaxy for Bathhouse Battle, one of the Main Planets inside this galaxy.

Bathhouse Battle (Planet)

There is a total of 7 Bots, 3 Puzzle Pieces and 1 Lost Galaxy in Bathhouse Battle. So let’s begin!

Bot 1/7

When you drop on the water at the beginning of the Planet, notice that there is a Bot stuck on the wall of the right side of this area (right next to the red bridge). Hit him to rescue it!

Puzzle Piece 1/3

When you turn Astro into a sponge, go to the nearest pond of water to inflate. Then, press R2 to throw water into the garden at the right side of this area (right next to the red umbrella) to reveal a Puzzle Piece.

Bot 2/7

Proceed until you find a black slime enemy, and look to your left to see a Bot trapped in black goo. Pour water on it with the sponge mechanic and rescue him.

Bot 3/7

When you reach a pond of water that is surrounded by bamboo, use the sponge mechanic to pour water on the giant bamboo stick on your right to reveal a path that leads to a Bot.

Puzzle Piece 2/3

At the area with three rubber duckies, notice that a black slime enemy is at your right messing up with a board. Defeat him and clear the board with water to grab a Puzzle Piece.

Bot 4/7

In the same area with the three rubber duckies (where you grabbed the Puzzle Piece 2/3), there is a sprout on the left side that needs some water. Pour some water on it to make a plant grow — with a Bot on the top!

Lost Galaxy

Right after the area with the rubber duckies, you need to defeat some fire enemies to proceed. Instead, go to the left side and jump on the platform (that has a Torii gate). Climb on the cherry blossom and pour some water on the chimney to put down the fire.

Bot 5/7

After you defeat some fire enemies to proceed, you will need to climb on some pipes. Follow the path to the right of the pipes to find a Bot that needs help.

Shibito Bot 6/7

When you reach an area with a pond of water and two fire enemies on a roof, look to your right to see more fire enemies on a round platform. Defeat the trio and look behind the platform to find the Shibito Bot (from the Siren franchise!).

Puzzle Piece 3/3

At the area with the four sponge pillars that you need to pour water to inflate, there is a Puzzle Piece on the top of one of these pillars. It’s hard to not see it, but you need to be fast to grab it.

Kutaro Bot 7/7

When you reach the area where you need to break a lot of crates while in the giant form to proceed, go back near the previous checkpoint to find a round red fabric on the floor. Step on it to tear it apart and drop it in a secret area with the Kutaro Bot (from the game Puppeteer!). You will need to be fast to overcome the obstacles here, so good luck. The Bot is by the end of this path after a bunch of fire enemies!

These are all collectibles for Bathhouse Battle. Congratulations!
