Welcome to Astro Bot, a 3D platform game developed by SIE Japan Studio’s Team ASOBI studio, exclusively for PlayStation 5! The game is a direct sequel to Astro’s Playroom and is loaded with easter eggs that pay homage to many games that marked PlayStation’s story somehow.
Many easter eggs are also collectibles — that’s why finding them is an important part of the game experience. Overall, Astro Bot has 4 Galaxies to explore, with 6 Planets on each. It can take around 12 to 15 hours to finish the story, get all collectibles, and grab the Platinum Trophy.
All Collectibles are divided into Rescue Bots and Puzzle Pieces — and each Planet (or, at least, most of them) has 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces to collect. There are also Lost Galaxies that can be found inside Planets that unlock special Levels.
An important notice is that none of the Collectibles are missable. You can replay any Planet at any time to collect your missing items. There’s also a built-in progress tracker in the PlayStation 5’s trophy list, where you can track how many you found already.
Feather Cluster (World)
Astro Bot’s main story is linear most of the time, so you need to complete the Worlds in a specific order. The fifth and final one is Feather Cluster, which has 48 Bots, 19 Puzzle Pieces and 2 Lost Galaxies.
Inside Feather Cluster, there are 6 Planets — 4 Main Planets, 1 Boss, and 1 Special Planet. For this Collectible Guide, we listed the locations for all Bots and Puzzle Pieces for Luna Sola, one of the Main Planets inside this galaxy.
Luna Sola (Planet)
There is a total of 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces in Luna Sola. So let’s begin!
Puzzle Piece 1/3
Right at the beginning of the Planet, while you are still driving the ship, a Puzzle Piece will appear in your way. Just be sure to grab it. Hard to miss.
The Slayer of Demons Bot 1/7
After defeating some mountain enemies, keep an eye on your right to find an alternative (and very dangerous) path that leads to the Slayer of Demons Bot (from the game Demon’s Souls!). What you need to do is turn Astro into a metal ball when you step on the crocodile so that you can reach the end of it.
Bot 2/7
After you get launched into a sinking ship, be quick to hit the Bot on the right side of the area before proceeding. Just be careful to not step on the lava.
Puzzle Piece 2/3
At the same sinking ship that you rescued the Bot 2/7, be quick to climb this structure to the top and find a Puzzle Piece.
Bot 3/7
When you need to defeat a mountain enemy to open up the path, look to your right to find a hole that you can go in while in metal ball form. Here, you will find a giant pirate inside a barrel, Find his weak spot to make the barrel explode and reveal a Bot.
Maiden in Black Bot 4/7
After the stomping rocks, go up the platform on the right so that you can jump on the top of these same stomping rocks. Follow this path until the end to find the Maiden in Black Bot (from the game Demon’s Souls).
Bot 5/7
In the area with two vacuum enemies, defeat them to save a Bot in the middle of this round platform.
Puzzle Piece 3/3
When you reach a round platform with a pirate symbol on the floor, look up to see a Puzzle Piece on a mast. Go up to grab it. Impossible to miss.
Bot 6/7
Right after the mast area (where you grabbed the Puzzle Piece 3/3), you will fall down a hole. Look to your left to find a Bot that needs help.
Bot 7/7
When you reach a sinking ship full of jewels, keep an eye on the left to rescue a Bot. Hard to miss.
These are all collectibles for Cannon Brawl. Congratulations!
