Welcome to Astro Bot, a 3D platform game developed by SIE Japan Studio’s Team ASOBI studio, exclusively for PlayStation 5! The game is a direct sequel to Astro’s Playroom and is loaded with easter eggs that pay homage to many games that marked PlayStation’s story somehow.
Many easter eggs are also collectibles — that’s why finding them is an important part of the game experience. Overall, Astro Bot has 4 Galaxies to explore, with 6 Planets on each. It can take around 12 to 15 hours to finish the story, get all collectibles, and grab the Platinum Trophy.
All Collectibles are divided into Rescue Bots and Puzzle Pieces — and each Planet (or, at least, most of them) has 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces to collect. There are also Lost Galaxies that can be found inside Planets that unlock special Levels.
An important notice is that none of the Collectibles are missable. You can replay any Planet at any time to collect your missing items. There’s also a built-in progress tracker in the PlayStation 5’s trophy list, where you can track how many you found already.
Gorilla Nebula (World)
Astro Bot’s main story is linear most of the time, so you need to complete the Worlds in a specific order. The first one is Gorilla Nebula, which has 42 Bots, 16 Puzzle Pieces and 2 Lost Galaxies.
Inside Gorilla Nebula, there are 6 Planets — 4 Main Planets, 1 Boss, and 1 Special Planet. For this Collectible Guide, we listed the locations for all Bots and Puzzle Pieces for Creamy Canyon, one of the Main Planets inside this galaxy.
Creamy Canyon (Planet)
There is a total of 7 Bots, 3 Puzzle Pieces and 1 Lost Galaxy in Creamy Canyon. So let’s begin!
Snake Bot 1/7
At the beginning of the Planet, look for a tree on the left side of this area. Hit the tree to make a Snake Bot (from the Metal Gear franchise) appear!
Puzzle Piece 1/3
Behind the tree that had Snake Bot, there are some enemies and a wire to pull. Defeat them and pull the wire to reveal a Puzzle Piece.
Bot 2/7
At the same area you found Snake Bot and the Puzzle Piece 1/3, look to the right side of the platform to discover a secret area with ice. Then ice skate until the end of this path to find a Bot.
Psycho Mantis Bot 3/7
Progress until you witness the Psycho Mantis Bot being abducted by an alien. You will need to chase the alien to a snowy area with a ladybug enemy. Hit and use this enemy to jump higher and rescue the Bot.
Puzzle Piece 2/3
At the same area you rescued Psycho Mantis Bot, use the ladybug enemy to reach a platform with a Puzzle Piece.
Lost Galaxy
Progress until you find a pig enemy and use him to break the giant ice seal (that is on the platform that you grabbed the Puzzle Piece 2/3). That will reveal a star symbol on the floor that you can dig (with the Square button) to access a secret path that leads to a Lost Galaxy.
Bot 4/7
In this area with the bug enemy, hold Square so that you can clean up the floor a bit until you find a star symbol that you can dig (with the Square button too) to reveal a secret cave with a Bot.
Puzzle Piece 3/3
After the pig enemy, you will slide to an ice skating platform. In this area, look for a pigeon flying by with a Puzzle Piece.
Gray Fox Bot 5/7
At the same ice skating platform, notice that some squirrels on the right are looking down to a hidden platform. Jump to this platform and dig (with the Square button) on the star symbol to reveal a secret cave with a Gray Fox Bot.
Bot 6/7
At the same ice skating platform, hit the ladybug enemy towards the right side so that you can jump and reach a platform with a Bot.
Bot 7/7
On your way to the ending of the Planet, a frozen Bot will appear right in front of you. Impossible to miss.
These are all collectibles for Creamy Canyon. Congratulations!
