Astro Bot Guide: Hieroglitch Pyramid – All Collectibles (Bots, Puzzle Pieces and Lost Galaxy)

Welcome to Astro Bot, a 3D platform game developed by SIE Japan Studio’s Team ASOBI studio, exclusively for PlayStation 5! The game is a direct sequel to Astro’s Playroom and is loaded with easter eggs that pay homage to many games that marked PlayStation’s story somehow.

Many easter eggs are also collectibles — that’s why finding them is an important part of the game experience. Overall, Astro Bot has 4 Galaxies to explore, with 6 Planets on each. It can take around 12 to 15 hours to finish the story, get all collectibles, and grab the Platinum Trophy.

All Collectibles are divided into Rescue Bots and Puzzle Pieces — and each Planet (or, at least, most of them) has 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces to collect. There are also Lost Galaxies that can be found inside Planets that unlock special Levels.

An important notice is that none of the Collectibles are missable. You can replay any Planet at any time to collect your missing items. There’s also a built-in progress tracker in the PlayStation 5’s trophy list, where you can track how many you found already.

Camo Cosmos (World)

Astro Bot’s main story is linear most of the time, so you need to complete the Worlds in a specific order. The fourth one is Camo Cosmos, which has 40 Bots, 16 Puzzle Pieces and 2 Lost Galaxies.

Inside Camo Cosmos, there are 6 Planets — 4 Main Planets, 1 Boss, and 1 Special Planet. For this Collectible Guide, we listed the locations for all Bots, Puzzle Pieces and Lost Galaxy for Hieroglitch Pyramid, one of the Main Planets inside this galaxy.

Hieroglitch Pyramid (Planet)

There is a total of 7 Bots, 3 Puzzle Pieces and 1 Lost Galaxy in Hieroglitch Pyramid. So let’s begin!

Bot 1/7

Right at the first area of this Planet, keep an eye on your left to find a Bot hidden inside a sarcophagus.

Bot 2/7

When the bridge breaks and you fall into the pit, just progress until you reach a round area with some enemies and a star symbol on the floor. Defeat them and press Square while stepping on the symbol to dig a hole and find a Bot.

Lara Croft Bot 3/7

At the area with stomping rocks, break the vases that are behind the last rock to reveal a star symbol on the floor that you can dig with the Square button. That will make you drop into a secret cave with Lara Croft Bot! She’s going after a chest on the right, but don’t run towards her or you are going to get killed. Walk slowly towards her to not trigger any trap.

Puzzle Piece 1/3

When you get the suit that transforms Astro into a metal ball, reach the top of this area, and instead of going out through the hole look to your right to see a Puzzle Piece.

Bot 4/7

When you get the suit that transforms Astro into a metal ball, go out of this place by the hole on the top and go right to find some crates. Jump on it and repeatedly press R2 to break and reveal a platform that throws you into the air. Use that to reach a platform on the top with a Bot.

Puzzle Piece 2/3

When you get the suit that transforms Astro into a metal ball, go out of this place by the hole on the top and go left to find another hole in the wall. Enter it to find a chest with a Puzzle Piece.

Bot 5/7

When you reach the second vacuum enemy, look down on the left to find a hidden cave. Push the right square on the square (the one that makes the controller vibrate) to rescue a Bot.

Puzzle Piece 3/3

After the section with spikes and moving blocks, launch on top of them and walk over them to the right. Enter the hole on the wall to find a Puzzle Piece.

Bot 6/7

After you momentarily transform Astro into an improvised golf ball, notice that there is a Bot locked in a cage on the left. To break the cage, you need to use the mini-mountain that rotates in the middle of this area. Simply enter the mini mountain (while in the metal bass form) and wait for the right direction to break the cage and rescue the Bot.

Tir McDohl Bot 7/7

At an area at the top with two vacuum enemies at the same time, you will see three metal crates behind them. Break all the crates with R2 to reveal a secret area with the Bot.

Lost Galaxy

At the very end of this Planet, instead of reaching the finish line, go to the right and press Square to reveal a breakable floor below the jewels. Use the button on the floor with R2 to be thrown into the air and find a hidden passage. You will face some obstacles, but if you succeed, you will be greeted with a Lost Galaxy.

These are all collectibles for Hieroglitch Pyramid. Congratulations!
