Astro Bot Guide: Luna Sola – All Collectibles (Bots and Puzzle Pieces)

Welcome to Astro Bot, a 3D platform game developed by SIE Japan Studio’s Team ASOBI studio, exclusively for PlayStation 5! The game is a direct sequel to Astro’s Playroom and is loaded with easter eggs that pay homage to many games that marked PlayStation’s story somehow.

Many easter eggs are also collectibles — that’s why finding them is an important part of the game experience. Overall, Astro Bot has 4 Galaxies to explore, with 6 Planets on each. It can take around 12 to 15 hours to finish the story, get all collectibles, and grab the Platinum Trophy.

All Collectibles are divided into Rescue Bots and Puzzle Pieces — and each Planet (or, at least, most of them) has 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces to collect. There are also Lost Galaxies that can be found inside Planets that unlock special Levels.

An important notice is that none of the Collectibles are missable. You can replay any Planet at any time to collect your missing items. There’s also a built-in progress tracker in the PlayStation 5’s trophy list, where you can track how many you found already.

Feather Cluster (World)

Astro Bot’s main story is linear most of the time, so you need to complete the Worlds in a specific order. The fifth and final one is Feather Cluster, which has 48 Bots, 19 Puzzle Pieces and 2 Lost Galaxies.

Inside Feather Cluster, there are 6 Planets — 4 Main Planets, 1 Boss, and 1 Special Planet. For this Collectible Guide, we listed the locations for all Bots and Puzzle Pieces for Luna Sola, one of the Main Planets inside this galaxy.

Luna Sola (Planet)

There is a total of 7 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces in Luna Sola. So let’s begin!

Bot 1/7

Right at the beginning of the Planet, notice that there is a block castle on the right side. Behind it, there is a Bot.

Bot 2/7

When you turn day into night for the first time, a Bot will appear behind a purple enemy in your way. Hard to miss.

Iota Bot 3/7

At night, pull the wire in the first area (near the checkpoint), to grab a bulb. Use it to light the way and reveal some platforms on the right side. Follow it until you reach a cage with a Bot inside. Throw the bulb at the purple enemy to free the Iota Bot (from the game Tearaway!).

Bot 4/7

When you turn night into day again, you will face two moving platforms. Use them to go up and look back to find a Bot.

Bot 5/7

After sliding a handrail and reaching a round rotating platform, there are some slime enemies in here. Defeat them all to make a Bot appear.

Puzzle Piece 1/3

When you turn day into night again (better get used to), look back to find a wire. Pull it to grab a bulb and light your way to reveal some platforms that lead to a Puzzle Piece.

Bot 6/7

When you turn night into day in the area with a pond of water, look to your left and follow the path to find a wire that reveals a dynamite. Then throw the dynamite in the glass right in front of you to find a Bot.

Puzzle Piece 2/3

When you turn day into night (here we go again), keep an eye on the left when you climb up a yellow ladder to find a Puzzle Piece inside a hole in the ground.

Puzzle Piece 3/3

After you grab the Puzzle Piece 2/3, progress a little bit until you cross two moving platforms. Before turning night into day again, look at your right to find a wire. Pull it to make a Puzzle Piece pop up.

Sackboy Bot 7/7

Right after the Puzzle Piece 3/3, when you turn night into day again (last time, I promise), go down a yellow ladder on the right side of this area to find a gate that leads to a nostalgic level with the Sackboy Bot (from the LittleBigPlanet franchise). Just proceed in this area until the Bot appears on the ground.

These are all collectibles for Luna Sola. Congratulations!
