Yesterday, at the Game Awards 2024 event hosted in LA’s Peacock Theater, it was announced that ASTRO BOT is the proud winner of the Game of the Year trophy. The game also won the awards in Best Game Direction, Best Action/Adventure Game and Best Family Game.
A big congratulations to Team Asobi for bringing a fantastic experience with the cute little Astro. In case you missed it, our staff member Gary Green featured Astro in their latest PlayStation Icons series of features, and our staff member Darren Kelly also gave high praise to the game in his 10/10 review, calling it a masterpiece.

About Astro Bot
In ASTRO BOT, players will explore 6 galaxies and over 80 levels in search of Astro’s scattered crew. These planets range from lush forests, sandy beaches, hot volcanoes to more surprising locations such as a gigantic hourglass or even the canopy of a singing tree.
Astro will also reunite with many friends from the PlayStation universe, and you can see a few of them in the trailer, such as Parrapa the Rapper and many more. Furthermore, Team Asobi has also added new abilities for Astro that take advantage of the haptic feedback of the DualSense Controller.
