Astro’s Playroom Guide: CPU Plaza – All Collectibles (Puzzle Pieces)

Welcome to Astro’s Playroom, a 3D platform free-to-play game developed by SIE Japan Studio’s Team ASOBI studio, exclusively for PlayStation 5! The game is a direct sequel to Astro Bot Rescue Mission (a PS VR title) and is loaded with PlayStation easter eggs that pay homage to over 60 games from across 26 years.

Many easter eggs are collectibles — that’s why finding them is an important part of the game experience! Also, Astro’s Playroom is a straightforward and quick game to platinum with fairly simple gameplay. It can take around 5 hours to finish the story, get all collectibles, and grab the Platinum Trophy.

Astro’s Playroom is divided into 4 Main Worlds, each containing 4 Levels, and it also has two main areas (CPU Plaza and PlayStation Labo) that work as a kind of hub. All Collectibles are divided into Artifacts and Puzzle Pieces — and each World has 9 Artifacts and 16 Puzzle Pieces across its Levels. But there are also some items to be found on the CPU Plaza and PlayStation Labo.

An important notice is that none of the Collectibles are missable. You can replay any World or Level at any time to collect your missing items. There’s also a built-in progress tracker in the PlayStation 5’s trophy list, where you can keep track of how many you found already.

CPU Plaza – All Artifacts

The main area of Astro’s Playroom is CPU Plaza

CPU Plaza is the main area for Astro’s Playroom, where you can access any World in any order. We can also find here four Artifacts that are needed to complete 100% of the game and unlock the Platinum Trophy.

So for this Collectible Guide, we listed the locations for all Artifacts in the CPU Plaza. Let’s begin!

Puzzle Piece 1/4

On the lowest floor of CPU Plaza (go down one floor once you reach the area), pull all the wires on the short platform where four robots are dancing to reveal the first Puzzle Piece.

Puzzle Piece 2/4

Pull the wire between the Memory Meadow and Cooling Springs entrances to reveal a platforming path. Climb it while moving towards the left side of the wall to find the second Puzzle Piece in the area.

Puzzle Piece 3/4

Pull the wire between the Memory Meadow and Cooling Springs entrances to reveal a platforming path. Climb it while moving towards the right side of the wall to find a wire that opens up a cable that you can slide onto the other side. Then pull more wires to reveal some moving platforms. Go up and then reach the third Puzzle Piece on the left side.

Puzzle Piece 4/4

Pull the wire between the Memory Meadow and Cooling Springs entrances to reveal a platforming path. Climb it while moving towards the right side of the wall to find a wire that opens up a cable that you can slide onto the other side. Continue going up with some bounce pads until you reach the top, where rests the fourth and final Puzzle Piece of the area.

That’s all of the Artifact Locations in CPU Plaza, the main area for Astro’s Playroom on PlayStation 5.
