Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Gust have announced a brand-new Atelier game. Titled Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian, this will be a new game taking place in the same world as the Atelier Resleriana gacha game.
However, the developer has assured that this will be, and this is a quote, a “completely offline experience”. A release date for the new title was not revealed, but it will be coming to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Get to Know the World of Atelier Resleriana
In case you don’t know, Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator takes place in the kingdom of Lantarna prospered from the blessings of a white comet that passed overhead. The art of harnessing the comet’s blessings was called alchemy, and the practitioners of this art were known as alchemists.
However, when the comet disappeared and its blessings were no longer available, the use of alchemy gradually declined and was eventually forgotten. This new game will take place in that same world, but will feature a completely different story, with different protagonists, and according to the official website, this will be a proper Atelier RPG.
