Nippon Ichi Software has shared a new music video for BAR Stella Abyss. This time we get to listen to a track called dear Marionette.
BAR Stella Abyss is a game that mixes tactical RPG with roguelike elements and dungeon exploration. In a few ways, its structure is similar to Monster Menu: The Scavenger’s Cookbook but using drinks instead of food.
The game tells the story of a cursed young man who goes to a special bar every night. There, he gets drunk and gets transported to other worlds where he can look for the things he lost, like his face and arm.
To better explore the areas, players must create special cocktails with various effects. They’ll also have to talk with some of the other regulars, getting closer to those individuals and potentially adding them to the exploration party.
ZIZZ Studio’s xaki composed the new track, which sounds like a dreamlike merry-go-round. He has previously worked on NIS’ rhythm platformer Mad Rat Dead and Umineko When They Cry.

BAR Stella Abyss is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024 in Japan. An English release has yet to be announced but it’s likely to happen at some point considering NIS America’s localization history.
