Ubisoft announced that the 20th anniversary edition of the 2003 action-adventure game Beyond Good & Evil will be coming next week, on June 25th, 2024 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Physical editions of the game are available via Limited Run Games. Pre-orders begin July 12th, 2024.
In Beyond Good & Evil, the story follows Jade, an investigative reporter, martial artist, and spy hitwoman working with a resistance movement to reveal a sinister alien conspiracy. Players control Jade and other allies, solving puzzles, fighting enemies, obtaining photographic evidence and, later in the game, travelling to space.
This Anniversary Edition features improved graphics, remapped controls, and updated audio, including more than 15 pieces of the iconic soundtrack re-recorded by a live orchestra under the direct supervision of Christophe Héral!
The game also features upgraded performances up to 4K at 60 frames per second and numerous quality of life improvements including autosave, cutscene-skip, full controller and keyboard & mouse support, and cross-save across all platforms.
