Wired Productions and developer Tomas Sala have just announced a major new update to Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles. Now, the game will be known as Bulwark Evolution: Falconeer Chronicles.
The name change will apply to only the PC version for now, but consoles will get this name change and update at a later date. This major update is, according to Tomas Sala, “the closest to a 1.0 [he’ll] get”, and it adds two new modes to the game, while keeping the original experience in another. The three modes are as follows:
- The Original Bulwark Experience – Players will explore the Great Ursee as they build their grand civilization, scavenge for resources, create trade routes, and form alliances with other factions scattered across the waves. This is the same as the original Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles.
- Free Build Mode – Create without consequence in this cozy mode, free from the conflict and challenges of standard play, where players can experiment and build without limits!
- Total Conquest – The beacons are lit, and the fires of war are here! In this challenging new mode, players start Bulwark at war with every faction. There’s no diplomacy and the frequency and scale of raids is like nothing they’ve ever seen before. Building alone won’t suffice— players will need grit, determination, and strategic expertise to survive the onslaught of the Great Ursee.
Furthermore, a huge list of quality of life improvements and updates were added and implemented, thanks to player feedback. You can view through the patch list here. We’ll keep you updated as more information on this update surfaces for consoles.
