The latest trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III just went in full swing, revealing the game’s latest addition to its operator roster. But Ubisoft may have also inadvertently, or otherwise subtly, unveiled something that real fans of the shooter could look forward to.
As spotted by X (formerly Twitter) user @charlieINTEL, he highlights the trailer’s end cards. The text on the snapshot reads:
Pre-order digitally on PlayStation and get the exclusive Lockpick Operator pack. *On PlayStation Store before Nov. 10 2023 [sic], also available on Call of Duty: MWIII PS5 Console Bundle. **PS players receive select bonus content not available on other formats until Nov. 9, 2024. PS Plus required for online multiplayer.
There may be caveats or conditions that come with the text, with the presence of the asterisks in places. Nevertheless, the message is pretty clear and straightforward. That is, digitally pre-ordering the Lockpick Operator pack is valid before the game’s official launch date of November 10, 2023. In addition, the new content seems to be inherent with a purchase of a “Call of Duty: MWIII PS5 Console Bundle”. The latter of which is something true COD fans could go crazy over.
Outside of that tidbit of information, it is said that the Lockpick Operator pack would include the Starry Night Melee Weapon Blueprint, the AMRican Gothic Weapon Blueprint, and the Van Goated Lockpick Operator Skin.
