Inti Creates has shared a new trailer for Card-en-Ciel. This time we get a look at Yggdrasil Records IX, a fictional RPG that’s part of the upcoming game’s world.
Card-en-ciel is an upcoming roguelite deckbuilder in which the various dungeons represent multiple game worlds. Some of those come from Inti Creates titles while others may not be actual projects.
In the title, a full-body VR game faces some sort of malfunction. Individuals from other titles seem to be taking over its world, and developer Ancie sees herself in a pinch.
To find out the truth behind this incident, gaming chair detective Neon will dive into the game and explore its myriad worlds.
The game features 300 cards, and each time we enter we have to adapt to a new deck with only a few trumps of our own carrying over. Cards also include Muses that change the battlefield conditions with their songs.
In the new video, we get to see a few of the initial conversations with Neon, Ancie, Aelfric, and Canaria. After introductions, the trailer showcases various Yggdrasil Records IX cards.
Card-en-Ciel comes to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on October 24, 2024.
