Publisher Kepler Interactive and developer The Gentlebros have both announced that the third title in their Cat Quest series of open-world RPGs, Cat Quest III, will be coming August 8th, 2024 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Perhaps quite fittingly, that date is also International Cat Day.
In Cat Quest III, players take on the role of a swashbuckling purrivateer in a fantastical pirate-themed world—the Purribean—an archipelago swarming with Pi-rats. Their objective is to search for the Northern Star – a long-lost mythical treasure.
Alongside your trusty spirit companion, set sail through the Purribean in your very own ship! But beware the seas, as a meow-tiny is nigh as the hordes of Pi-rats under the order of the Pirate King attempt to hunt you down.
