WayForward has revealed that the Clock Tower: Rewind physical release pre-order is now open. It’s possible to buy it through the Limited Run Games store up to June 30, 2024.
Clock Tower: Rewind is a new edition of the 16-bit horror classic that never left Japanese shores. It’s coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in 2024, though the company has yet to reveal a release window.
Rewind uses Limited Run Games’ Carbon Engine to make it a faithful rerelease. It’ll feature two modes, Original (with gameplay intact from its 1995 release) and Rewind (with quality-of-life improvements and extra content).
In the game, players assume the role of Jennifer, a young orphan exploring the Barrows family manor. She’ll find many secrets in this place but will also have to run for her life as a maniac with big shears runs after her.
The physical editions come in a standard and a collector’s edition. The former costs US$34.99 while the latter is US$124.99 and comes with the following goodies:
- Collector’s edition box;
- Original soundtrack;
- 12″ x 16″ double-sided Poster featuring original art by Shintaro Kago;
- Acrylic standees;
- Dan Barrows stressball;
- Ham object enamel pin;
- Demon idol keychain; and
- Sticker sheet.
